Faith

Times have been tough lately for a lot of folks.  While I try to stay in the word daily, I turn to God’s word even more during times that I seem to be struggling.

I thought I would share a few faith scriptures with you that I have come across that have given me hope and faith.

Galatians 5:5 – For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

1 Timothy 6:12 – Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Romans 14:23 – But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.

2 Peter 1:5-7 -5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

Hebrews 12:2 – looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

2 Timothy 4:7 – I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 Corinthians 5:7 – For we walk by faith, not by sight..

Romans 10:17 – So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Jude 1:20 – But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

Colossians 2:5 – For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

1 John 5:4 -  For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith
