A Season For Everything

Ecclesiastes 3
A Time for Everything
1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;a time for war, and a time for peace.

I have been thinking about this scripture for a while now. After praying for many months on what my spiritual gifts are and how I can serve Him, I have finally learned, or it has finally sunk into my head that my season in life now is taking care of my children and teaching them at home. I am in a season to where I am mentoring other homeschoolers and encouraging them in their journey of being at home with their children as well. My children is my ministry. It is my job and responsibility of being the one to teach them about life and about God. God has blessed me with the ability to share my love of Him with others and He has allowed me to do this through homeschooling my children. I am very thankful and blessed that He has given me the opportunity.

If you are ending one season and wondering what your next step or season may be, let me encourage you to spend time in prayer with the One from above and ask Him what that may be. You never can tell where He may lead you next.

If I can pray for you, please leave a comment below. I would be more than happy to lift your name up. God has a purpose for you. He has a special job just for you. Just take the time to listen and you may just be surprised where He leads you next. Blessings to you.
